Legends 9U - 12U Prospect Program is an introduction to our program. These teams are designed to build their foundation to become the complete player. Even though they are young, we train them exactly the same as the big diamond players however as they get older we put in more plays, etc. We also try to smooth their transition into the big diamond when they reach 13 years old. Each season the field dimensions will become a little bigger.
August: Legends host tryouts early August for the following season. For the 2017 season we are offering 9U, 10U, 11U & 12U teams. We carry a 12-13 man roster for these teams.
September-October: Optional fall ball schedule is offered to all players who make our Prospect teams (included in the tuition). These teams participate in the EBL Fall League.
November-March: Once November starts, this intense program practices every week from November up until end of March. We have two primary goals for our winter practices.
One of the major differences between our Program and the competition is the Specialized Programs that are built into each teams practice regimen. These unique programs are designed by Dave and Mike Costantino to enhance and fine tune players techniques in all areas of the game. Classes are available two days a week with each day covering a different topic (these classes are part of the tuition). This is convenient for parents and players to pick and choose the day, time and topic that are best suited for their individual needs. These unique skill building programs have proven to increase players skills in years past. Players can register for these classes online.

April-August: Games begin late March/early April and run until mid-June. We take around a 3-4 week break so players can participate in their town All Star Teams. We pick back up in mid-July in order to get ready for our end of the year National Tournament. These teams are tournament based teams meaning the majority of our games are in tournament play. These teams are also part of the New England Elite Baseball League (EBL). The EBL is the most competitive league in New England which brings out the best in our young ball players each and every weekend. These age groups over the last 10 seasons won 4 National Championships, 3 National Championship Runner-up, 12 New England Regional Championships, 18 New England Regional Championship Runner-up and numerous local Tournament Championships. These teams play around a 35-60 game schedule over the 4 months.
